Before

Every good photo shoot starts with a good interview. Whether we can meet in person, or just talk over the phone, I like to try to understand what each individual is after in his or her session. This interview process is a chance for the both of us to discuss which of my services would be best for you. There is no charge for the interview if it is over the phone or under 30 minutes travel time for me.

During

The shoot itself, with most of my clients, takes place outside. There are opportunities for indoor sessions if needed. We will usually work for about an hour, but there are no strict time limits barring outstanding scheduling conflicts. You may change into as many different outfits as desired, and I will click away the whole time: There is no limit on the number of shots I take. I am also completely approachable about YOUR ideas as the subject of the photos. If you would like to recreate a shot that you love, tell me and we'll get it done. You are in charge of your shoot.

After

After packing up for the evening, I get right to work on creating a web proof sheet. This way you can send a link to all your friends to help you decide which pictures you are interested in using. The web proof sheet will be available for viewing within three business days after the session. After you decide what images you want, I will do any necessary retouching and layout the shot with an optional border and your name/signature on the photo itself. Once you are satisfied with the image, I'll have it printed and mailed right to your door.
